50 Women of Options - An Options Community Services Campaign

Kamal Johal

Assistant Manager in Finance, Options Community Services
Bonny Moy - 50 Women of Options

In 2015, Kamal Johal moved to Surrey from Kamloops and was placed at Options Community Services by her temp agency. She enjoyed the work and began working with Options full time when there was an opening. Now, Kamal oversees their work with the WorkBC Employment Services (ES).

Before coming to Options, Kamal worked in IT, after spending 25 years at Interior Health. She is married with two adult children and is passionate about seeing her projects through.

Kamal believes this campaign is really worthwhile and understands first-hand how difficult it can be for families to deal with mental health and addiction problems.

She was involved with the capital campaign in 2021 and found it an eye-opening experience. Kamal looks forward to learning more about the different mental health support services available to youth and telling other people about it.
